A breath of fresh air in the world of chamber music … with this unusual group with its three famous performers who play music ranging from the classical to the avant-garde. In the fifty years of his career Antonio Ballista has explored almost all repertoires both as a pianist, a chamber music musician and a conductor. Alessandro Lucchetti attended the piano courses at the Milan Conservatory, and today is one of the most respected composers in the new generation. Federico Mondelci, a real innovator in instrumental technique, and considered a reference point for executing and interpreting the classical repertoire for the saxophone as well as for contemporary music, joins then to give life to an unusual trio with an unusual repertoire. Fatamorgana , presented as an absolute premiere at the Istituzione Universitaria dei Concerti di Roma, is a homage to important representatives of fusion and music from other cultures, ranging from the Arab to the Brazilian, from jazz to African music engrossing audiences of all ages.
