Sergej Kylov
Sergej Krylov has the charisma of great artists
capable of musical introspection merged with amazing
virtuoso gifts, added to a sound of rare beauty
and exceptional intonation, qualities that make
him the ideal interpreter for solo violin performances.
After playing at the Verbier Festival with Maxim
Vengerov, Steven Isserlis, Yuri Bashmet and Evgeny
Kissin, next year Krylov be involved in projects
for solo violin. He will in fact start to work
with the Santa Cecilia Academy for a number of
seasons inaugurated on March 9th 2007 with a recital
at the Parco della Musica. He will still honour
his many commitments as a soloist with the orchestra.
After his great success in London with Mendelssohn’s
Concerto conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy, he will
play with the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic, the
Philharmonische Staatsorchester in Hamburg, the
Taipei National Symphony Orchestra, and the RTE
Symphony Orchestra in Dublin. He will hold concerts
with Mikhail Rudy at the piano, and also play
in trio with Misha Maisky and Yefrim Bronfman.
