Trio Di Parma
The artistic and friendly partnership between
these three young students with particular talent
was born in the halls of the Parma Conservatory:
pianist Alberto Miodini, violinist Ivan Rabaglia
and cello player Enrico Bronzi, who after graduating
with top marks and a special mention, in 1990
decided to create this trio that very soon became
splendidly successful within the Italian musical
panorama. Having perfected their skills with the
legendary Trio di Trieste at the Chigiana Academy
in Siena and at the School of Music in Fiesole,
the Trio di Parma won the “Vittorio Gui”
International Award in Florence and international
chamber music competitions in Melbourne and the
ARD in Munich. In 1994 the National Association
of Music Critics awarded them the Abbiati Prize
for the best chamber music group. Originality
interpretative ability, the crystalline pureness
of their sound and great xpressive awareness distinguish
this group, which over the years has played with
important musicians and recorded many CDs. The
Trio di Parma holds courses for musical instruments
and chamber music at the International High School
of Chamber Music in Duino and at the Musical Academy
of the Cinghio Theatre in Parma.
