Letizia Belmondo - Raffaele Trevisani
Letizia Belmondo made her international debut
at the age of fourteen with the Dublin RTE Orchestra.
Very soon she won the first prize at international
competitions in Israel (2001), Lausanne (2000),
Lille, «Franz Schubert» and «Lily
Laskine» (1999). In 2002 she recorded her
first CD for Egan Records, and since 2005 she
has been the first soloist harp for the Opera
Royal de la Monnaise Orchestra in Brussels. Raffaele
Trevisani’s career has been equally prestigious;
he studied with the legendary James Galway who
described as «one of the best young flutists
thanks to the beauty of the sound and his perfect
technique». After playing for a long period
with the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Trevisani
is now the soloist with the Mayri orchestras and
the star, also in recitals, of absolute first
time performances. In his vast collection of recordings
he achieved great success with the CD entitled
The Virtuoso Flute (Delos) performed with the
Moscow Chamber Orchestra. He plays a 14 carat
gold Muramatsu flute. The Belmondo-Trevisani duo
will perform a vast repertoire at the Filarmonica
Laudamo, ranging from Baroque to the 20th century.
