Sergej Krylov – Giuseppe Andaloro
During the past season Sergej Krylov conquered
audiences at the Filarmonica Laudamo with a recital
for solo violin that was utterly amazing. Repeated
immediately at the Bellini Theatre in Catania,
this performance aroused just as much enthusiasm:
«Krylov, a brilliant violinist in a legendary
concert!» (La Sicilia). The whole
of the year 2007 was a year filled with success
for this Russian virtuoso, and the press expressed
the following opinion: «Krylov, limpid and
diabolical… sublime enthusiasm… standing
ovations for his irresistible Capricci…
the skies open and Paganini appears» (La
Repubblica). After performing Mendelssohn’s
Concerto with the Taipei Symphony Orchestra,
and making his debut with the prestigious NHK
Orchestra in Tokyo with Mozart’s Concerto
KV 219, he returns to Messina in a duo with
a an outstanding musician, the pianist Giuseppe
Andaloro, a guest of the Filarmonica Laudamo even
before he achieved world fame winning the “Busoni”
2005 Competition. This award in fact was the definite
consecration of this young Sicilian musician’s
great talent and his career is absolutely on the
rise. His next commitments in fact also include
a tour with the Berliner Philharmoniker,
a first appearance at the KlavierFestival in the
Ruhr, and numerous concerts in Europe, the USA
and Japan.
